Gravity has an effect on our bodies every minute of every day. It doesn't discriminate, office workers or athletes, we all experience change to our bodies as a result of the inescapable compressive force of gravity. We also experience change due to injury or surgery and soft tissue therapy can help counteract all of this, improvements can be made by treating the soft tissues of the body, muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia.
Techniques used include sports massage, soft tissue release, neuromuscular technique, myofascial release, deep tissue massage, instrument assisted technique and kinesiology taping.
Chronic pain and movement limitation mean that you enjoy your life less, whether you are a weekend walker, regular gym user or an elite athlete.
Starting with postural assessment and range of movement tests, we will compose a treatment plan to help reduce any symptoms and increase your level of activity.
Regular soft tissue therapy can also help maximise sports performance at all levels whether you are a cyclist, runner, footballer, tennis player, swimmer, yoga/pilates or weekly exercise class participant.
Even when not experiencing pain a relaxing body massage is also an amazing stress reliever and can prevent future injuries.

"My son was gutted when he developed Osgood Schlatter's Disease in his knee. A keen footballer, we didn't know much about the condition until we contacted Angie and we expected him to be off sport for a good few months as advised by our GP. After the first session he was able to put marginally more weight on his bad knee. By week two he was kicking a soft football around with his cousins, and now he is ready to get back to football training. We are absolutely thrilled, having gone from thinking about getting our son crutches a month ago, to hear him kicking a ball (gently!) around in the garden again. Massive thanks to Angie, she has worked wonders. She is a brilliant therapist, her manner calm, professional and reassuring"
