"My son was gutted when he developed Osgood Schlatter's Disease in his knee.  A keen footballer, we didn't know much about the condition until we contacted Angie and we expected him to be off sport for a good few months as advised by our GP. By week two he was kicking a soft football around with his cousins, and now he is ready to get back to football training. Massive thanks to Angie, she has worked wonders.  She is a brilliant therapist, her manner calm, professional and reassuring"

"I have been treated at Gravity STT for several years now, not only does Angie quickly get me repaired and back in the saddle after the odd mishap, but a regular treatment keeps me in good shape, especially as I spend a lot of time at a desk, on a plane or in a car"                                                                                                     Mr N Harley, Oxfordshire

what is SOFT TISSUE therapy?

Specialist management, manipulation and rehabilitation of soft tissues of the body including, muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia. It incorporates numerous 'hands on' techniques and is applicable to anybody wishing to guard against or recover from injury. Treatments can help relieve day to day issues such as repetitive strain injury, sprains, strains, headache, back ache and joint pain as well as sport related injury.

It is so much more than sports and remedial massage which can also be incorporated into a treatment if required.

Soft Tissue Therapists are highly skilled specialists with high levels of anatomy and physiology knowledge along with expert palpation skills, to feel what is happening in the tissue.

Chronic pain and movement limitation could mean that you enjoy your life less, whether you are a weekend walker, regular gym user or an elite athlete.

Our aim is to get you pain and restriction free.

Starting with postural/injury assessment and special tests, we will compose a treatment plan to help reduce any symptoms and increase your level of activity.

Treatment will include advanced techniques, manual therapy and manipulation plus remedial exercise plans and advice.

Regular soft tissue therapy can help maximise sports performance at all levels whether you are a cyclist, runner, footballer, tennis player, golfer, equestrian or weekly yoga/pilates class participant.
